Personnel - Hannay Fraser

	Calum D Fraser LL.B., N.P. - Partner
	Calum was born and brought up on Bute and left the island to read Law at Glasgow University in the early seventies. After graduating he undertook his apprenticeship with Elder Mackenzie & Co., a firm of Glasgow Solicitors with whom he remained as an assistant before setting up Hannay Fraser & Co with James Hannay in 1981. Calum specialises in property work commercial and residential including property development and works with a team including his paralegal, Ellen Wilson, to provide a wide range of property and private client services and has been a practising solicitor for 28 years. He accordingly brings a wealth of practical experience gleaned through his years in private practice.

	James Hannay LL.B., N.P. - Partner Jim Hannay was born and brought up in Glasgow and graduated in Law from Glasgow University. Jim was a partner in a firm of Glasgow solicitors prior to setting up Hannay Fraser & Co with Calum Fraser in 1981. Jim specialises in Court law both civil and criminal and deals with matrimonial matters and general dispute work.


	Helen Cuthbert LL.B., N.P. - Associate
	Helen has been with Hannay Fraser & Co since 1997 and is based in our Glasgow Office. Helen qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and has a wide range of experience in both domestic and commercial property and private client work. She is primarily responsible for the firm’s executry business and also deals with a variety of conveyancing matters. In her spare time Helen enjoys golf, gardening and a good book.

	Norma Garden - Paralegal
	Norma started working for Hannay Fraser in 2002 as a conveyancing paralegal having spent 13 years in her previous employment with McGrigor Donald where she gained her paralegal qualification. Norma deals mainly with residential sale transactions, re-mortgages and new house builders sales. In her spare time, Norma enjoys ski-ing and walking her dog.

	Fiona Stewart - Property Manager
	Fiona was born and brought up on Bute, and left the island in 1994 after working with the Bute Estate for 7 years. During the next 11 years Fiona gained invaluable experience working with property professionals in the Glasgow area and then returned to Bute joining Hannay Fraser in 2005 to head up our now thriving estate agency department. Fiona accordingly has extensive knowledge of both the Glasgow and island markets. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, running and socialising with friends.

	Marianne Hunter LLB (Hons) Dip LP NP - Assistant Solicitor
	Marianne was brought up on Bute and after graduating from Glasgow University, carried out her legal traineeship in Rothesay. Since completing her traineeship, Marianne has worked as a solicitor dealing primarily with residential purchases and sales. Marianne joined Hannay Fraser & Co in 2007 and brings with her approximately 10 years residential conveyancing experience. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys going to the cinema, walking and socialising.
